The position:

Why This Matters Now
The internet needs identity continuity, not just authentication events. Every force accelerating the internet is also accelerating the failure of the credential model.
AI agents
Autonomous workflows act on behalf of humans at machine speed. They need identity, permission, memory boundaries, delegation, revocation, and accountability — not just a session token.
Deepfakes and synthetic identity
AI-generated lures are indistinguishable from legitimate communications. One-time verification events are no longer sufficient when the attacker can synthesize the person.
Remote work and distributed access
Perimeter-based security is gone. Every access event is a remote access event. The credential is the only thing standing between the attacker and the system.
Account sharing and fraud
Credential sharing, account takeover, and synthetic account creation are accelerating. Static identity cannot distinguish the real person from the impersonator.
Automated attacks at scale
Credential stuffing, phishing, and brute force are fully automated. The attacker has infinite patience and machine speed. The credential model was not designed for this.
Enterprises need continuous trust
A one-time login event that buys hours of session trust is not a security model. Enterprises need to know the right person is still there — not just that they were there at 9am.
The First Proof
Customers don't need to believe the entire future on day one. They need one working proof.
Scan
A user authenticates with their Ui instead of a password. No credential exists to phish or steal.
Tether
The session stays alive only while identity continuity holds. The system is not trusting a token — it is trusting a living state.
Revoke
The moment continuity breaks, access dies. No stolen session token survives.
One deployment proves the layer. The rest is expansion.
For the technically minded
Ui verifies the acting party continuously against two independent tests: is this the right identity (distance), and did it get here by legitimate evolution rather than substitution (velocity)?
Access granted through a Ui tether persists only while both hold — unlike a bearer token, which is trusted until it expires. Continuous verification, instant revocation, no portable secret.
Distance
Is this the right identity? The acting party is compared against the known Ui shape.
Velocity
Did it arrive by legitimate evolution? Sudden substitution breaks continuity — access dies.
The Safety Layer
This is where the argument gets strong.
The question every robot must answer:
Who owns me?
Who can command me?
What company am I tethered to?
What human am I allowed to serve?
What actions are U?
What actions are Not U?
When should I refuse?
When should I ask for consent?
That is identity. That is consent. That is safety.
